ABOUT US:
The First Nations Archaeology Alliance (FNAA) is an incorporated society in British Columbia, made up entirely of First Nation and Indigenous community volunteers who work in the field of archaeology across the province.The FNAA empowers First Nations to steward evidence of the past through the practice of Indigenous Archaeology in accordance with their traditional laws and cultural protocols.
Our Misson:
To advance Indigenous archaeology through capacity building, policy development, and direct support for Indigenous communities, ensuring their leadership in research, interpretation, and protection of cultural heritage led by First Nations archaeologists in accordance with traditional laws and protocols.
